The Department Card is a tax-free prepaid declining balance account (Points Account) designed to offer flexibility and convenience for departments, while eliminating unnecessary paperwork involved with Department Meal Passes.
Obtaining a Department Card
Department Cards are offered to any department on campus. The first card is provided free of charge and available by contacting the FSA Office (see contact information to the right).
Using a Department Card
Department Cards may be used at all FSA and the Buster Brown Bean Company Cafe dining facilities. The discounted points prices shown in the chart below will be charged when using the card at our dining centers.

Managing a Department Card
Lost, Stolen, or Defective Cards:
- A $15.00 fee is charged for replacing lost or stolen cards
- Lost or stolen cards must be reported to the FSA Office
Administration Charges:
- No administration charges
- No accounting charges
- No maintenance fees

- Any funds remaining on the card will continue to rollover from one semester to another
